The exterior is modern, well lit and attractively designed. Very nice hotel, with a good location, suitable for business travellers as well, recommended for groups. The Carlton is located in the wealthy mezzeh district of Damascus, some 4-5km north west of the city centre. However, it is well served by transport links. The rooms are of a medium size, modern and well equipped. Bathrooms have both bath and shower. The Carlton is currently the best 4 star hotel option in Damascus; its quality more than compensates for the out of town location. Recommended for GTA groups in this budget category.
